The story

Builder, founder, and a mind that won't sit still. I make complex things simple, and simple things run themselves.

I'm Yash Upadhyay. I build things: products, automations, and the systems that hold them together. I'm the founder of GigDekho, a live gig marketplace in Indore, and I'm studying Computer Science at Symbiosis and Data Science at IIT Madras at the same time.

I'm happiest where technology meets thinking. Talk to me about AI, philosophy, science or poetry and I'll stay up far too late. I want to learn everything it's humanly possible to learn.

My memory isn't my strong suit, so I'm building a second brain: a companion that remembers what slips, notices what matters, reasons on its own, and follows me across every device.

Off the screen, I train. I played state-level cricket, and I treat the body like any other system worth building.

How I think
Every hard problem is a few simple ones standing in a trench coat.
  1. 01

    Break it down

    Split the problem into parts until each one is small enough to see clearly.

  2. 02

    Simplify

    Strip away everything that isn't the problem. The simplest version that works is usually the right one.

  3. 03

    Attack

    Then go at it with full force. No half-measures once the shape is clear.

  4. 04

    Automate

    If I've done it twice, a system should do it the third time.

I'm not afraid of thinking hard, or out loud. The best ideas I've had arrived mid-argument with myself.
